David Robinson Recreation Park
The David Robinson Recreation Park is located northeast of downtown Dyer at 230 Freemont Street. The park offers 4 ball fields, a children’s playground, a walking track, tennis courts, a large gazebo, and wide open spaces for all sorts of activities.
Various ball leagues for adults and children use the park including the Dyer Volunteer Ball League (youth ball). Monitor local media or contact City Hall for information on league sports that may be available.

VFW Building
The Dyer VFW Building is available for use by the public for parties, receptions, and other events. The facility includes tables and chairs, a refrigerator, stove, and microwave. A large horseshoe shaped counter can serve as a buffet or serving area. Separate men’s and women’s bathrooms are provided. The facility is handicapped accessible.
To reserve the VFW, contact City Hall at (731) 692-3767. A $100 fee and $25 deposit is required for most users.
