David Robinson Recreation Park
The David Robinson Recreation Park is located northeast of downtown Dyer at 230 Freemont Street. Ameneties include:
- 4 ball fields
- a children’s playground
- walking track
- tennis courts
- a large gazebo
- cornhole
- volleyball
- disc golf
- Wifi throughout the park
Various ball leagues for adults and children use the park including the Dyer Volunteer Ball League (youth ball). Monitor local media or contact City Hall for information on league sports that may be available.
(Note that a public basketball court is located behind the Eagle Community Center, see below).

VFW Building
The Dyer VFW Building is available for use by the public for parties, receptions, and other events. The facility includes tables and chairs, a refrigerator, stove, and microwave. A large horseshoe shaped counter can serve as a buffet or serving area. Separate men’s and women’s bathrooms are provided. The facility is handicapped accessible.
To reserve the VFW, contact City Hall at (731) 692-3767. A $100 fee and $25 deposit is required for most users.

The Eagle Community Center is located behind Dyer Junior High School

The Eagle Community Center is available for use by the public for parties, receptions, and other events. The facility includes tables and chairs (for seating up to 96), a refrigerator, microwave, and stove. A large counter can serve as a buffet or serving area. Separate men’s and women’s bathrooms are provided. The facility is handicapped accessible.
To reserve the Eagle Community, contact City Hall at (731) 692-3767. A $100 fee and $50 deposit is required for most users.
There is a public basketball court located behind the Eagle Community Center. The court can be used outside school ours.
